Spurs One Win Away From 50 Wins And Ready To Drive For Five

The San Antonio Spurs first to reach 20 wins the first to reach 30 wins the first to reach 40 wins and with 49 wins just one more win to be the first to 50 wins and set a franchise record 12 straight seasons with 50 or more wins. The Spurs are playing great consistent basketball they are also ready to clinch playoff birth. The Spurs are and have always been the best team the past 12 years to me always consistent that word is bolded because when it comes to playoffs you can always count on Ol' Reliable the Spurs always in the playoffs every season.

This outstanding season is now making everyone appreciate the quiet Spurs who aren't about media just a dominate team in the NBA that you can count on to leave it all on the court. Spurs have four game games in the next 6 days a division rival back to back tuesday against division rival Memphis Grizzlies and Wednesday against the NBA worst team Cleveland Cavaliers. Then a huge game friday Spurs will play the Miami Heat and another big game Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers two huge games.

The Spurs looking to get home court advantage it would be big for the Spurs to have home court advantage especially cause the home record this season 28-2 at home. The Spurs will be scary to play in the playoffs all this team has team has to be is healthy I bolded this word because this is the reason for Spurs success. The past season Spurs were not healthy but this season everyone is healthy and are ready to "Drive For Five".

Spurs Ready to Drive For Five with NBA Best 46-9 Record

The San Antonio Spurs have been gone on their annual Rodeo Road Trip they have dominated this road trip they are 6-2 and have one more game before they come back home San Antonio. The Spurs are consistent winning big especially cruising through the road trip. Spurs are running away with first place in the NBA. Home Court advantage in the playoffs are big for the Spurs especially because they are 25-2 this season at home.

Spurs are playing like they want the tittle more than everyone Spurs move the ball around great and the defense is starting to pick up. The Spurs are dangerous now they have showed everyone they are back and better than ever best start in franchise history. Tim Duncan playing low minutes this season and the Spurs still getting the job done.

Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker playing great basketball two of the top scoring guard duos in the NBA and Jefferson and Blair playing great. The supporting cast and the bench is the best bench in the NBA with George Hill Gary Neal, Tiago Splitter, Antonio McDyess doing their job coming off the bench. Spurs are ready for playoffs but their is still 28 games left and Spurs only get better each game they play together. Come June expect the San Antonio Spurs to be playing in the NBA Finals.

Celtics Dominate And Can Lakers Defend Title?

he Lakers and Celtics played in a great game on Sunday afternoon it was back and forth up until the last 4 minutes in the game. The Celtics bigs dominate and Rondo records 16 assists more than the entire Lakers team. The Celtics moving the ball around great and playing good defense as Kobe is looking like the old Kobe. Playing selfish and taking unnecessary shots taking 29 of Lakers 70 shots.

Kobe had took 12 shots in a row, not getting any of his team mates involved as the Lakers big men also shut down by the Celtics Defense as Gasol and Bynum combine for 23 points and 13 rebounds together. Kevin Garnett had as may as rebounds as those two combined Pierce, Allen ,Rondo also big nights.

This Celtics team is scary; the most dangerous team in the NBA. The East is a weak conference with only four dominate teams Celtics Bulls Heat Magic. As for the exciting Western conference nine good teams that have winning records. The Spurs are best team right now winning consistently and Spurs want to dethrone the Lakers and be back on top of the NBA again. This Lakers team has a tough challenge doing a three peat but against power house teams Lakers are 1-4 vs Top 5 teams.

Spurs First To Reach 40 Wins

The Spurs played their last home game on Saturday night against the Houston Rockets before the Spurs went on their annual Rodeo Road Trip and nine road games.

The Spurs took care of business at home at beat the Rockets.
It is time for that road trip should be an easy road trip for the Spurs. Only winning teams on the road trip are Lakers and Bulls should be two tough games for the Silver and Black but I expect the Spurs to come out with a win.

The Spurs have been the most consistent team in NBA all year and they are healthy a key factor in the Spurs success the Spurs in the past years have not been healthy. This season the Spurs have and the record speaks for it self 40-7 the Spurs are ready to contend for the tittle. Coach Pop has been named West All-Star coach but Pop known for not all flashing lights and red carpet.

All Popovich wants is for his Spurs to still be playing in June and not watching at home. The Spurs are ready and will be playing for the one prize everyone wants and everyone is San Antonio will be chanting come June “Drive for Five”. There still 37 games left and Spurs are in pace to win 60 plus but Spurs just want playoffs to come thats where the job needs to be done. Spurs know more than everyone it is all about playoffs so this years NBA playoffs will be exciting. The last time the Spurs were first to reach 40 wins they won the tittle remember that.

Los Angeles BLAKErs

Blake Griffin is one of my favorite in College players and now he is a dominant NBA player. Unfortunately, he had to miss his entire rookie year because of a broken knee cap.

He is still considered a rookie this year and he will win rookie of the year by a landslide. Blake Griffin is a human highlight reel. If you watch Sports Center, I guarantee he will be in the top 10 plays every night.

The Clippers are not doing to well Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon having to carry this team through the whole season.

Blake Griffin is one of the most dominate big men today already having 100 dunks this season in 44 games. Blake Griffin is what we all call a “Beast” he is a double double machine with 34 double doubles second in the whole NBA and most by any rookie. Blake Griffin has been voted in front of a lot of great big men in the west for all star ballots.

Just his rookie season he has tons of years ahead of him and he is ready after a horrible 1-13 start the clippers have been 16-14 with big wins but also tough losses. This a young team that can only get better especially with a great big man Blake Griffin leading this team and a future M.V.P years to come. You have to watch this human highlight reel I guarantee you will be amazed by his talent.

Spurs Looking To Get Back On Track

The Spurs won a big game on Friday vs the New York Knicks but having push through a back to back. After the Knicks game the team flew to New Orleans to face the Hornets but losing bad cooling of the Spurs. This is just one of those games that has to be forgotten.

The Spurs will face a high scoring Golden State team tonight that has a very great scorer in Monta Ellis who can drop 30 points a night when he wants. Also another great young player Stephen Curry and good big man David Lee. The Spurs will have some trouble but will still get the win in Golden State.

Spurs are 37-7 but after tonight they will be 38-7 the Spurs are in a tough western conference with 9 teams with winning records. The Spurs should get the win tonight and get back on track and reach that one goal which is to get that fifth title. Spurs fans want to be chanting in June saying “Drive For Five”.

1. San Antonio Spurs-The Spurs are playing the best basketball right now with the best record in the NBA at 35-6 and winning consistently. Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker playing great and Tim Duncan getting his rest. The Spurs bench doing great George Hill doing great Gary Neal doing great and rest of the bench great. The Spurs defense is lacking but the game against Nugget it was there the Spurs held Carmelo to only 12 points the Spurs will be overall great by end of season both on offense and defense.

2. Boston Celtics- The Boston Celtics have been back on track with injuries hurting this team they still manage to get the win. All because of one man Rajon Rondo he is the reason the Celtics are still contenders. With a big win last night against Orlando Magic the Celtics get back their anchor on defense Kevin Garnett. This team is in my eyes is the most dangerous team in the NBA they have a big line up Glen Davis, Kevin Garnett, Shaq O’Neal, Jermaine O’Neal, Semih Erden and Kendrick Perkins who is still out with knee injury. Bostons guards the best point guard Rajon Rondo and best shooter Ray Allen and the leader of the team Paul Pierce Boston has one of the most dangerous teams in the NBA. This Celtics team is only besides the Spurs and Lakers that know how to win a Championship the last 3 teams that have won the tittle are Spurs Celtics and Lakers.

3. Los Angeles Lakers- The defending champion Lakers are also playing like chumps but lately they have been inconsistent. They have been winning and then losing they are second in the west but they are not playing not champs. The Lakers are playing selfish basketball when i mean by the lakers i mean Kobe. Kobe is suppose to be a leader and he’s not playing like the leader people have seen past 3 years. Kobe has two dominating big men that need to be fed down low in Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol who need to be fed down low both 7 footers who dominate the paint. One thing is stopping that Kobe is taking too many shots too many but as long as Lakers big men get the ball they will be able to defend that tittle.

4. Orlando Magic- The Orlando Magic after that blockbuster trade have been doing great they have been shooting great and winning consistently they are now contenders. Howard dominating on defense like always but trying to find dominance in the offense end. Dwight Howard has been working in off season with Hakeem Oljuwon over the summer and another great big man as assistant head coach Patrick Ewing. The Orlando Magic have a lot of weapons on the offense end with shooters like Hedo Turkoglu and J.J Redick Jason Richardson and Gilbert Arenas. When you have Gilbert Arenas coming off the bench you must have a great team, the Magic are definitely a contender in the East.

5. Oklahoma City- The Thunder have one of the best in the world Kevin Durant who is playing great with the duo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook the two are great but losing tough games to Los Angeles and Denver. Durant and Westbrook can only do so much agaisnt team averaging 60 pts as a duo.Basketball is all about a team effort and OKC is not the same team from last year. They are still young team and still in top four in west standings. This young team will get back on track this team is a force to be wrecking with years to come.

First Place Spurs Have Comfortable Lead In NBA; Ready To Drive For Five

The San Antonio Spurs are the first team to reach 32 wins and have been playing like champions ready for the playoffs.

The Spurs have been doing great on offense but its the defensive end that has been lacking but its working. Spurs basketball everyone is use to is “boring offense and play great defense” and now its like “explosive offense and no defense”.

Not the Spurs defense we are all use to seeing but Spurs have Four championships for a reason they will get back to playing great defense. The Spurs wins will be by double digits and will have control over games.

Tim Duncan not playing that many minutes resting, only playing a lot of minutes when its crunch time and Spurs need him most which is playoffs. Manu Ginobili playing like an M.V.P leading Spurs in scoring and whole Spurs team playing like a team. Everyone is unselfish with the ball and most of the team scores 6 or 7 players score. The bench plays great the Spurs are ready to drive for five this season.

Lebron James And Heat Number One In East As Last Place Cavaliers Get Destroyed

Lebron James and the Miami Heat are the hottest team right now they are playing better than everyone right now and have first place in the eastern conference.

As for Lebron James’ old team, the Cavaliers were destroyed by 55 points last night vs the Lakers.

James commented on his twitter, “Karma…Gets you everytime. Its not good to wish bad on anybody. Its not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything”

Lebron James twitter was aimed at the cavaliers and especially owner Dan Gilbert. Gilbert is unprofessional and he got what he deserved– a losing team. Lebron James deserves a title. I thought he made the right decision; he wants to win so he took his talents to South Beach.

When he left a lot of people showed there true colors city of Cleveland they have no class and Cavaliers organization has no class.

If they really loved Lebron James they would support Lebron James, I know he did the “Decision” in a unprofessional way he could have told the Cavaliers before he went on TV.

Lebron James is Lebron James one of the best players in the world. Its funny how people say they hate him but they still turn on their TV to watch him play and they still pay money to watch him live.

James is still wanting to get that ring and this may be the year. Maybe not and maybe next year; who knows. The  NBA is “where amazing happens.”

Spurs First Team To Reach 30 Plus Wins with NBA Best Record 31-6

Spurs first team reach 30 wins Friday&31 wins sunday as they beat Pacers and Timberwolves. You could say they were ugly because they were two&three point wins against teams with losing records. It really does not matter to me as a Spurs fan just as long as they get the win.

Spurs playing best basketball in franchise history but the key to that is because entire roster is HEALTY. The reason I put that word in all caps is because thats really the key to Spurs great start.Spurs are also doing this with Duncan getting his well needed rest.

The Spurs resting old reliable Tim Duncan because come playoff time they will need him to do what he does best win playoff games. Spurs are not only veteran team that needs to stay healthy the Lakers and Celtics are other two veteran teams.

Spurs showing they are ready to to contend but the defense needs to step up Spurs have changed up team game plan to better offense but defense is allowin to many points but Spurs new offense& new gameplan seems to work.

Tim Duncan doing good with reduced munutes and Manu playing like an MVP and Parker doing great as for hill and blair and jefferson neal splitter mcdyes and I can go down whole roster thats what Spurs basketball is all about, playing like a Team.

Miami Heat Rally In 4th Quarter To Beat Trailblazers in Overtime

The Miami Heat playing like the super team a lot of people thought they were going to be in the beginning of the season. I knew the Miami would struggle in beginning of season the had no chemistry.Wade missed entire pre season,also speculations about coach Spolstras job as head coah. The drama about Lebron James but Lebron and Wade&quiet Bosh just playing ball.

The Miami 2nd best record in East Lebron and Wade both like MVP’s. Miami Heat half a game behind Boston in East. Heat are young hungry team with experience Wade carrying his team&winning in 06 Finals. The next year in 07 Lebron also carrying his team to finals but falling short getting swept.

These two superstars take off so much weight off eachothers shoulders not having to score 30 a night and get a triple double. Miami is now to me a contender for the east defending this Miami Heat team is so difficult its like “pick your poison”. Do you want Lebron or Wade to score in you or feed it to Bosh down low beat you down in post.

The Spurs are my team and always will be but Spurs have alot of teams that are contenders Lakers Celtics Heat Magic Mavericks Thunder. Right now Miami is hotest team right now lets see if they can take that top spot in east.

Spurs vs Celtics The Two Best Teams In There Conferences

The Spurs and Celtics are two of the oldest teams in the NBA and are dominating there conferences the Spurs with a record of 29-5 and Celtics with record of 26-7. The Celtics to me are the most dangerous team in NBA but record really not showing especially with injury to the best point guard in NBA right now Rajon Rondo. The Spurs are the hottest team in the Western Conference but last night slowed down by the Knicks in a high scoring game.

Celtics will not have Kevin Garnett tonight and Rajon Rondo is day to day he may play tonight. The Spurs can take advantage of the Celtics tonight and get an easy win if Rondo does not play. The Spurs have had the franchises best start in history and continue to stay consistent having winning streaks and have not yet lost 2 games in a row. The Spurs are playing at this level with the best power forward in history Tim Duncan averaging 13 pints and little less than 10 rebounds.

I expect the Spurs to win big in this game because Celtics are not healthy withRajon Rondo day to day and Kevin Garnett out indefinitely and Paul Pierce is watching his ankle. Spurs should rest Duncan a lot after playing last night in loss to Knicks. Manu Ginobili playing like MVP clutch when Spurs need him and healthy Tony Parker Spurs are ready to contend and maybe just maybe Spurs fans can cheer “Drive for Five”. This game wont be a big game but it will be entertaining second meeting between these teams will be a better game March 31st in San Antonio.

Spurs Still Number One And Contender For The Title

The Spurs are dominating on the road and doing great at home the Spurs playing Spurs basketball. Everyone is getting involved Tim Duncan get his rest and Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker and Richard Jefferson are scoring like they should.

The supporting cast for the Spurs doing great George Hill a great sixth man for the Spurs. Dejuan Blair, Tiago Splitter and Gary Neal and Matt Bonner doing great also off the bench.

Exciting for Spurs fans the Spurs are not know for scoring over a 100 a lot but this season every time spurs score 100 they are undefeated. Spurs still a great defensive team. Spurs still have the best record but Spurs are in a tough Western Conference.

The Spurs have half a game lead over division rival Dallas in the NBA and Western Conference and Division. Spurs are still dominant team right now they will stay on top for a while. One big thing for them is just stay healthy and they will stay number one.

Eagles Soar and Vick is Back

The Philadelphia Eagles played in a division game vs the Redskins with former 11 year Eagle quarter back Donovan McNabb playing against his former team. These two teams met few weeks ago with Redskins winning that game.

This time it was a whole another story as Eagles just destroyed the Redskins in a blowout game. With Mcnabb getting a contract extension the other quarter back Michael Vick. Showed that he deserves a an extension on his contract.

Michael Vick playing better than he has ever played in his career passing for 333 yards four touchdowns and rushing for 80 yards two touchdowns. Michael Vick playing like an M.V.P Peyton Manning who is my favorite quarter back has competition for M.V.P. race his name is Michael Vick.

This Eagles team has so many weapons offensively DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin,Le Sean McCoy, Jason Avant all had 50 or more yards receiving. Eagles have the fastest or not one of the fastest quarterbacks in Michael Vick and receiver DeSean  Jackson also one of the fastest receivers in NFL. This Eagles team is very young and will only get better I don’t doubt if they are in Super Bowl.

Miami Heat Struggling No Supporting Cast

The Miami Heat struggling with a record of 5-4 the Miami Heat are still trying to figure out what kind of team they are.Lebron James and Dwayne Wade looking for there help off the bench.

The Miami Heat have no true point guard and don’t have a true center those are two of the biggest positions in the NBA. Lebron playing point guard is good but it is also bad it can’t take a toll on him bringing the ball down every play and Lebron is great bringing the ball down and getting his teammates involved.

The thing is he is also great moving without the ball but Heat are still trying to figure out what kind of team they are Bosh needing to step up. Rajon Rondo who is my favorite point guard exposed the Miami Heat defense Rondo drove into paint and just slammed the ball in uncontested. Wade this is his team and needs to be the co-captain he is and show that this Miami team is a contender this year.

I know that next year and years to follow this Miami Heat team will be a contender but we are all talking about the present right now and they are not living up to the hype. The next games we will have to see how they manage to play especially Lebron he has so much on his shoulders right now.

Lebron James is who everyone is watching the man who sacrificed money and stats averaging a career low 22 points a game. Maybe Lebron is having second thoughts or maybe he will become leader and change this team into to what we thought was a super team. Miami Heat so much hype but lets see how this team steps up in these next games.
